Knitted Warmth

Hello snow angels! So thrilled for all of this super cold, super snowy weather- not.

It was fun for a day but now VA is getting out of control! haha Oh well. 

At least my son enjoys playing in the snow. ^.^

This outfit was inspired by my infinity scarf that I am obsessed with. I literally have worn this thing everyday since I have gotten it. I bought it at the Outlets in Williamsburg. Got a great deal and I am tempted to get another one! It is so cozy and warm. I love the knitting pattern and how big the scarf is.

Coupon Haul

I have been on a serious coupon craze these passed 2 weeks.

I have just a small stash and get most from my mother because she just has a zillion of them.

I really only coupon for beauty products- skincare, hair, and cosmetics.

Being that we eat very clean in my household, we avoid processed foods [frozen, canned and boxed]

So couponing for food really isn't my thing.

Everything I bought here I paid less than .90 cents for. 

Seriously.

Snake and Lace

Today was ridiculously cold in Virginia!

Not only that but it was super windy.

I was still determined to take these photos for you guys though.

Here is another custom made, recycled piece.

I found this [originally a] dress at the thrift store about two weeks ago for $3.

I fell in love with the snake print pattern contrasted with the lace trim.

Initially I thought to removed the lace, but it just gives the outfit such a nice contrast don't you think?

I then decided to sew it into a romper. The legs turned out a little long, but I adjusted them

once I put on the outfit. 

The original size is an 8 which is way to big for me. I washed it to give it some shrinkage 

OOTD- Tiger Red

I finally had a day off in what seemed like forever this week!

Took my little man to the library and park. Heading into the "terrible two" phase 

and he is FULL of energy.
