6 Nail Colors for Fall 2013

The sun is setting sooner and the nights are getting cooler, which only means one thing; Fall is quickly approaching! Along with that comes apple cider, pumpkin patches, homemade pies, hot chocolate and tons of other heart warming aspects of the season.

As the leaves change colors, so will your wardrobe. Transitioning between seasons is a great time to try new color palettes and really explore your inner fashionista.

Check out these 6 gorgeous nail colors to consider adding to your fall beauty collection

1. One of my favorite color trends this summer was orange. MAC came out with an awesome orange collection this year as well. Because I loved this color so much I look forward to using it in my fall beauty collection.
This is China Glaze's Orange Marmalade which is a gorgeous deep, rustic orange with gold undertones. Not some crazy pumpkin orange color because that could go really wrong, really fast. This reminds me of the nice transition of the leaves changing colors.

2. Blue is something totally different to try. I have not experimented with blue makeup or nail polish in a while [or often], so this would be the perfect opportunity to try it!

This color from Sinful Colors is soft enough for the Fall. I feel that a bright blue or marine blue belongs in the hot seasons but that is just my opinion. Sinful Colors is a quality, AFFORDABLE line, with great color pay off. It can be purchased at drugstore like CVS or Walgreens

3. Purple is always appropriate in the fall. It is such a rich, royal color. Sometimes a super dark purple polish can ruin the rest of your look. This Butter London nail lacquer in Queen Vic has just enough brightness to it to keep it from dulling an entire outfit. You can find this exact polish here for $15.00.

4. I believe emerald was a big color trend earlier this year and last winter, but this is a color I can not get enough of! I may be a bit missed because green is my favorite color. There is just something about the depth of the color tone that adds a sensual, mysterious quality to a look.

This color by Zoya is absolutely perfect to add to your collection.Zoya is an all natural line, so it is not made with any of those chemicals that will damage your nails. For $8.00 I would say that it is an awesome deal to go that extra step in caring for your nail.

5. Brown is sometimes a difficult color to pull off. It is such a perfect Fall color but can either be too dull or too messy. If done right, it can definitely add some personality and richness to your outfit.

Bobbi Brown has a lacquer called Twilight Shimmer that is perfect for your polish collection. It is a shade of brown that compliments any skin tone and has just enough shimmer to not make an outfit look so drab. Limited edition colors like this one can be found at the nearest Cosmetics Company Store to you.

6. RED! No polish collection is complete without this seasonal color. It is a color that really defines the holidays. Instead of the Marilyn Monroe-esque bright red, opt for a warm, burgundy red that has lots of blue in it this season. OPI's Lost in Lombard is part of there San Francisco Collection and is the perfect red to have this Fall. You can find this line at the closet Sephora to you.
